ABOUT THE VOICE STUDIO

Founded by Liz Harley in 1995, The Voice Studio aims to provide a comfortable and supportive space in which anyone who has an interest in voice - speaking or singing - may explore their vocal potential.

The ethos behind The Voice Studio is to 'facilitate, not dictate'. A student can be absolutely new to singing or may be an experienced performer; the aim is to provide the necessary tools to help them work towards their individual goals in a relaxed, supportive and happy environment.

Liz welcomes singers and non-singers alike. In some cases people, who claim to be 'non-singers', come to The Voice Studio believing they can't sing, simply because 'someone' has told them so. Our first challenge is to try and undo the confusion or inhibitions they have learned over time and to reveal their true voice. Liz also understands that some people want to sing purely for their own enjoyment and have no wish to sing before an audience. The Voice Studio enables everyone to develop their voice at their own level and pace.
