QUALIFICATIONS / MEMBERSHIPS

Liz Harley is a Licentiate of, and has postgraduate Certificates of Advanced Studies in Vocal Training & Opera from the Guildhall School (LGSM; pg GSMD). She also has a Certificate in the Art of Teaching Singing from Thames Valley University. She was a member of EQUITY. She is a member of the ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians); the BVA (British Voice Association) and AOTOS (Association of the Teachers of Singing).

Since starting The Voice Studio in the mid 1990s Liz has also worked as a one-to-one singing coach/teacher at the Leys School, Cambridge and has directed the singing class for the BTEC Performing Arts Course at Oaklands College, Welwyn Garden City.

Liz's work now focuses on coaching singing with individuals on a one-to-one basis at her Welwyn Garden Studio. She sees her role as an 'enabler' rather than 'teacher', her aim being to help by encouraging and guiding those interested in exploring their singing and/or speaking voice.
